How many of you did not think spring would ever come? Well, neither did I. Now with higher fuel costs
on everyone’s mind and our list of IH shows growing, may I suggest you make a Summer Show Plan
that makes you comfortable, but includes several IHC activities.
I am sure many have already heard, Chapter 7 was successful with our bid for the 2011 National
Winter Convention to be held in Columbus, IN. I want to thank everyone who supported this bid effort
and for your continued future support in planning and hosting this wonderful IHC event. Many of us are
really looking forward to the national attention this brings to Indiana.

Congratulations to our newest Scholarship winners: Jennifer and Mathew Wilson, Bloomfield [see
Bob Zarse’s report inside for details]. We wish them the best in their educational endeavors and
starting their future careers.
Please bring along a friend to one of our IH shows this summer and introduce them to our passion of
collecting IH history. Let them enjoy the hospitality of our Chapter 7 members during their visit. Tell
them about our Chapter 7 web site: www.ihcin7.org. By the way, Chapter 33 [Northern Indiana] has a
new web site: www.ihcc33.org. As always, please keep Safety First during your IH travels and
collecting this summer.
